Madhumeha

Madhumeha is a condition when a person excretes urine that passes like honey (Hyperglycemia). Hyperglycemia is primarily caused by impaired insulin sensitivity and decreased insulin production.

Symptoms

In initial stages no symptoms are observed

  • General weakness
  • Increased frequency of micturition
  • Increased/decreased appetite
  • Burning micturition
  • Burning sensation in soles

Cause

  • Sedentary life style(lack of physical exercise)
  • Hereditary
  • Increased intake of sweet and oil fried items and other ahara vihara
